The 17吃瓜 Panthers are looking forward to some special events and a week of competition at home and away. 

Friday, February 6
AT HOME:
6:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers host the Cape Breton University Capers at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.

At this game, the 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers will host Shoot for the Cure, a fundraising initiative in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Dedicated to advancing breast cancer research and awareness, Shoot for the Cure has become a longstanding tradition in Canadian university sport, uniting athletes, coaches, and fans around a common cause.

There will be a Shoot for the Cure bake sale as well as a pink jersey auction during the game. There will also be Cross Country and Track and Field senior recognition immediately following the game.

7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers host the Acadia University Axemen at MacLauchlan Arena. There will be a Shoot for the Cure bake sale during the game, organized by the women鈥檚 hockey team. There will also be a ceremonial puck drop to recognize 鈥淓xtra Awesome 17吃瓜,鈥� a volunteer program dedicated to developing intellectual and physical skills in youth living with Down Syndrome in PEI.

8:00 pm: 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Basketball Panthers host the Cape Breton University Capers at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. There will be a Shoot for the Cure bake sale and a pink jersey auction during this game.

Saturday, February 7
AT HOME:
2:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Cape Breton University Capers at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.

4:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Cape Breton University Capers at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. There will be a pre-game recognition of Steve Connolly, a long-time supporter of 17吃瓜 Panthers basketball.

7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers host the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies at MacLauchlan Arena.

AWAY:
The 17吃瓜 Track and Field Panthers compete at the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Open in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

3:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers play the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Sunday, February 8
