Members of the 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers gathered for Alumni Day during the 2024鈥�25 season at MacLauchlan Arena. The annual celebration returns Friday, January 23, highlighted by the induction of Greg Gravel in the 17吃瓜 Hall of Fame, Green and White Games, and a marquee matchup against the Dalhousie Tigers.
Members of the 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers gathered for Alumni Day during the 2024鈥�25 season at MacLauchlan Arena. The annual celebration returns Friday, January 23, highlighted by the induction of Greg Gravel in the 17吃瓜 Hall of Fame, Green and White Games, and a marquee matchup against the Dalhousie Tigers.

The 17吃瓜 Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. 

Wednesday, January 21
AT HOME:
7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers host the University of New Brunswick Reds at MacLauchlan Arena. The theme for the game is 鈥淏ell Let鈥檚 Talk鈥� in support of mental health. Game goers can also help support mental health awareness through the  program spearheaded by 17吃瓜 goalies Sarah Forsythe and Erin Cabaday. For the final 10 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panther games and playoffs, fans can pledge $1 per save and $10 per Panthers win. All proceeds go directly towards the Canadian Mental Health Association of PEI. To make a pledge, contact Bruce Donaldson at bdonaldson@upei.ca or (902) 393-0662.

Friday, January 23
AT HOME:
The 17吃瓜 Hall of Fame ceremony honouring Greg Gravel will be held at 4:15 pm in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre. The business-casual event is part of 17吃瓜 Hockey鈥檚 annual Alumni Day celebrations. It will include appetizers and a cash bar and is open to the public.

The induction will anchor a full day of Alumni Day programming, highlighted by the Green and White Games at 2:30 pm, and on-ice ceremonies just prior to a marquee matchup between 17吃瓜 and Dalhousie University at 7:00 pm at MacLauchlan Arena.

6:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

8:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Basketball play the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Saturday, January 24
AT HOME:
3:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers host the St. Thomas Tommies at MacLauchlan Arena.

7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers host the St. Francis Xavier University X-Men at MacLauchlan Arena.

AWAY:
1:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

3:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
