The following message was also emailed to students on December 18, 2025, on behalf of 17吃瓜 Student Affairs and the Office of Student Culture and Community Standards.

We recognize that some students may be spending the holiday break on campus or on PEI, away from family or friends. 17吃瓜 Student Affairs has compiled a that are available over the holidays.

Several 17吃瓜 departments鈥擟ampus Life, Residence Life, International Student Office, and Development and Alumni Engagement鈥攈ave also organized a series of fun and festive holiday events for students to enjoy (also found in the link above). 

The following events are open to all 17吃瓜 students:

• December 21, 10:00 am: Cereal 鈥榥鈥� Toons, Room 142, Bill and Denise Andrew Hall

• December 23, 1:00 to 3:00 pm: Canvas and Cocoa鈥擩oin the Campus Life Lead Advisors in the Day Lounge, W.A. Murphy Student Centre for a guided 鈥渟ip and paint鈥� event. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies and take home a beautiful painting. Students also have the chance to win a prize. The 17吃瓜 Alumni Association is sponsoring this event.
   
• December 23, 6:00 pm: Cookie Decorating Contest, Room 142, Bill and Denise Andrew Hall
   
• December 27, 1:00 pm: Write a Holiday Card to Send Home鈥擩oin the 17吃瓜 Residence team to write a holiday card to send home to loved ones in Room 142, Bill and Denise Andrew Hall.

• December 27, 4:00 to 5:00 pm: Holiday Dinner To-Go鈥擜 festive meal prepared for students living in residence as a takeaway offering, Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall

• December 27, 5:00 to 7:00 pm: Holiday Movie Night, Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall.
   
• December 29, 5:00 pm: DIY Craft Night, Room 142, Bill and Denise Andrew Hall
   
• December 31, 5:00 to 7:00 pm: Attend the Capital New Year Event鈥擟elebrate New Year鈥檚 Eve with other 17吃瓜 students at the Capital New Year event in downtown Charlottetown. Departure point is the Day Lounge, W.A. Murphy Student Centre.
   
• January 1, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm: 17吃瓜 Annual New Year鈥檚 Levee, Room 128, Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering building
   
• January 6, 4:00 pm: Bingo and Winter Drink Bar, Room 142, Bill and Denise Andrew Hall
   
• January 7, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm: Create Your Own Vision Board, Day Lounge, W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

Room 142 in Bill and Denise Andrew Hall is set up for casual drop-in throughout the holidays. All 17吃瓜 students are welcome to the planned events or simply to hang out, watch movies, do crafts, and play games.
