Lecture series about renowned PEI author L.M. Montgomery available on Audible

A six-lecture audio series titled by Dr. Kate Scarth, Chair of L.M. Montgomery Studies, and Applied Communication, Leadership, and Culture, is now available through The Great Courses on Audible.

Scarth opens the series with an introductory lecture and then in the next five, explores key topics that illuminate Montgomerys life, works, and legacy: family, place, friendship, creativity, and literature.

Listeners will explore the impact that the authors personal experiences had on her writing and get a clearer picture of how life shapesand is shaped byliterature. They will discover why Montgomerys novels mattered in her own timeand still matter todayand better understand the lasting and international influence of her life and her work across the generations.
