17³Ô¹Ï celebrates 2SLGBTQIA+ community at PEI Pride Parade

17³Ô¹Ï students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and friends gathered on Saturday, July 29, to participate in the 31st annual PEI Pride Parade.
Led by members of the 17³Ô¹Ï Student Union, the 17³Ô¹Ï community was joined by 17³Ô¹Ï's mascot Pride the Panther, who helped greet thousands of spectators lining the streets.
This year’s event was deemed by organizers as a great success with hundreds of participants marching in the colourful procession, which helped kick off Pride Fest 2025. The parade began at 11 am at the provincial government buildings on Terry Fox Drive in Charlottetown and continued down Euston Street to Great George, Grafton, and Rochford before ending on Kent Street.
Many thanks to the 17³Ô¹Ï Student Union, 17³Ô¹Ï Office of Student Culture and Community Standards, 17³Ô¹Ï Alumni, and to all those who participated!
