17吃瓜

The 17吃瓜 Hockey and Basketball Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. 

Before the weekend games begin, 17吃瓜 international students will have the opportunity to connect with the 17吃瓜 Hockey Panthers to learn more about the game through the following activities:

Hockey 101: Smart Classroom Session
Wednesday, January 22, 5:15鈥�6:00 pm
Location: Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre classroom 212

Learn to Skate with Panther Hockey
Thursday, January 23, 11:30 am鈥�1:00 pm
Location: MacLauchlan Arena

Skate and helmets are available from the Study and Stay PEI office located in the Robertson Library building (RL225).

The Panthers鈥� games kick off on Friday, January 24:

AT HOME:
7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers host the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies at MacLauchlan Arena. This is an 鈥淚nternational Night鈥� when representatives from 17吃瓜 Hockey will be available to sit in the student section (section 10, 11, or 12) with international students to answer questions about hockey in real time. 

To get free student tickets:

Option 1: Log onto  to select the game. Students must select a seat in sections 10,11, or 12.

Option 2: Go to the Bell Aliant Centre Box Office on game day (open 1 hour prior to game) to request your ticket by showing your 17吃瓜 student ID. Request a ticket in section 10, 11, or 12.

AWAY:
6:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Acadia University Axewomen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

8:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Acadia University Axemen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

Saturday, January 25
AT HOME:
7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers take on the University of New Brunswick Reds at MacLauchlan Arena. This is Alumni Night to celebrate past players. This game is also 鈥淚nternational Night鈥� when representatives from 17吃瓜 Hockey will be available to sit in the student section (section 10, 11, or 12) with international students to answer questions about hockey in real time. 

AWAY:
2:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Acadia University Axewomen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

4:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Basketball Panthers play the Acadia University Axemen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers play the Acadia University Axemen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

Sunday, January 26
AT HOME:
3:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers host the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies at MacLauchlan Arena. This is Minor Hockey Day when female minor hockey players have the opportunity to skate with the 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers after the game.
