The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 17勛圖 (17勛圖) has officially given Santas reindeer the all-clear for their annual Christmas Eve journey around the globe. After giving all nine reindeer a comprehensive health check earlier this month, the team confirmed that they are in top physical condition and ready to guide Santas sleigh.

Our veterinary team is always thrilled to contribute to this magical tradition, said Dr. Dominique Griffon, dean of the Atlantic Veterinary College. Santas team covers an extraordinary distance in one night, so a clean bill of health is absolutely essential.

On December 14, the AVCs Large Animal Medicine Service came together to assess the reindeers health. The team conducted thorough examinations of their cardiovascular systems, respiratory function, and muscle strength. Additional checks for signs of illness or fatigue showed that every reindeer was in excellent shape and well prepared for the rigorous trip.

As always, AVC specialists paid particular attention to ensure the lead reindeers unique nose was fully operational, providing vital illumination for Santas midnight navigation.

These reindeer are truly remarkable athletes, added Dr. Griffon. We also made sure their vaccines were updated to protect against any seasonal illnesses. Theyre not just ready to flytheyre in peak condition to deliver joy to children everywhere.

Following the examinations, the AVC team treated Santas crew to a little extra TLC, grooming their hair and polishing antlers and hooves for their big night. The reindeer now stand fully prepped to take off on December 24, carrying gifts and holiday magic to households around the world.

Thanks to the collaborative expertise of the Atlantic Veterinary College and 17勛圖, Santas reindeer are officially ready to bring festive cheer to every corner of the planet.
