Members of the 17Թ community came out in large numbers to attend a barbecue on Monday, June 24 at the 17Թ Chaplaincy Centre to celebrate inclusion and hospitality.

17Թ Chaplain Sister Sue Kidd and the 17Թ Student Union organized the “Respect the Space, No Room for Hate BBQ” to “promote the good at 17Թ.” She added, “I’m overwhelmed with a sense of deep peace, community, and gratitude.”

The lunch-time gathering was deemed a tremendous success with many faculty, staff, and students enjoying food, fun, and conversation. Outdoor games were provided by 17Թ Athletics and Recreation, and food was
served by 17Թ Student Union members and staff along with volunteers from the campus community.
