Members of the 17吃瓜 community came out in large numbers to attend a barbecue on Monday, June 24 at the 17吃瓜 Chaplaincy Centre to celebrate inclusion and hospitality.

17吃瓜 Chaplain Sister Sue Kidd and the 17吃瓜 Student Union organized the 鈥淩espect the Space, No Room for Hate BBQ鈥� to 鈥減romote the good at 17吃瓜.鈥� She added, 鈥淚鈥檓 overwhelmed with a sense of deep peace, community, and gratitude.鈥� 

The lunch-time gathering was deemed a tremendous success with many faculty, staff, and students enjoying food, fun, and conversation. Outdoor games were provided by 17吃瓜 Athletics and Recreation, and food was 
served by 17吃瓜 Student Union members and staff along with volunteers from the campus community.
