Once again this year, 17吃瓜 and the 17吃瓜 Alumni Association hosted a successful New Year's Day Levee with 17吃瓜 interim President and Vice-Chancellor Greg Keefe greeting over 400 levee-goers. Joining President Keefe in the receiving line to wish attendees warm greetings for 2024 were the Hon. Diane Griffin, Chancellor Elect; Sjors Reijers, Vice-President, 17吃瓜 Alumni Association; Camille Mady, President, 17吃瓜 Student Union; and Debbie Keefe. A group of 17吃瓜 Music choral students, under the direction of Associate Professor Sung Ha Shin-Bouey, sang holiday favourites as guests enjoyed refreshments and camaraderie.
