The 17吃瓜 Panthers have a full schedule of hockey and basketball during the week of January 9鈥�15.

Wednesday, January 11:

7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers (14-5-1) play against the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies (13-7-0) in Halifax, Nova Scotia. 17吃瓜 has won all three games against the Huskies, having outscored them 19-6.

17吃瓜 is proud to host the 2023 Cavendish Farms University Cup Men鈥檚 Hockey Championship from March 16鈥�19, 2023. Tournament passes are available now at .

Friday, January 13:

***PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER AND THE INABILITY OF THE OPPOSING TEAM TO TRAVEL TO PEI, THE 17吃瓜 MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL GAMES VERSUS UNB HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL THURSDAY, JANUARY 26 AT THE SAME TIMES AT THE 17吃瓜 CHI-WAN YOUNG SPORTS CENTRE.***

6:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers (6-5) play at home against the University of New Brunswick Reds (6-5) at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. The Panthers look to end a three-game losing skid. 17吃瓜 defeated the Reds early this season with a score of 69-58.

This is 鈥淪hoot for the Cure鈥� night with the team raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. The link to their donation page is

7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers (10-6-1) take on the Saint Mary鈥檚 Huskies (11-6-1) in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Panthers are looking for their first win against Saint Mary鈥檚 this season.

8:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Basketball Panthers (8-3) play at home against the University of New Brunswick Reds (4-7) at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. 17吃瓜 lost their only matchup between the two teams in overtime 82-79.

Saturday, January 14:

7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers play against the Dalhousie University Tigers in Halifax, Nova Scotia. 17吃瓜 has won two out of the three matchups with each game going to overtime or a shootout.

7:00 pm: The 17吃瓜 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers play the Acadia Axemen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The Panthers are carrying a 3-0 record against the Axemen, including two shutouts.
