17³Ô¹Ï Panthers this Week (January 2–8, 2023)
The 17³Ô¹Ï Panthers play hockey and basketball at home and away during the week of January 2–8, 2023.
Wednesday, January 4:
The 17³Ô¹Ï Women's Hockey Panthers will host an exhibition game at 5:00 pm against the St. Thomas University Tommies at MacLauchlan Arena.
The 17³Ô¹Ï Men’s Hockey Panthers (12-5-1) will host the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (10-8-0) at 7:00 pm at the Eastlink Centre, 46 Kensington Road, Charlottetown. 17³Ô¹Ï owns a 2-1 record against Moncton and have outscored them 8-6.
17³Ô¹Ï Men’s Hockey invites all players, coaching staff, and families to enjoy AUS hockey. A special group offer is available, which includes 30 tickets for $100 or $4 per person. Friday, January 6:
6:00 pm: The 17³Ô¹Ï Women’s Basketball Panthers (6-3) play at home against the Acadia Axewomen (6-2) at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. The Panthers lost both games against Acadia so far this season.
7:00 pm: The 17³Ô¹Ï Women’s Hockey Panthers (8-6-1) host the Mount Allison Mounties (2-14-0) at MacLauchlan Arena. 17³Ô¹Ï won the first game against Mount Allison 4-2.
8:00 pm: The 17³Ô¹Ï Men’s Basketball Panthers (6-3) play at home against the Acadia Axemen (1-7) at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. The Panthers took the first two games against Acadia in early November.
Saturday, January 7:
4:00 pm: The 17³Ô¹Ï Women’s Basketball Panthers play at home against the Acadia Axewomen.
6:00 pm: The 17³Ô¹Ï Men’s Basketball Panthers play at home against the Acadia Axemen.
7:00 pm: The 17³Ô¹Ï Women’s Hockey Panthers host the Dalhousie University Tigers at MacLauchlan Arena. Both teams each took a game and have scored six goals against one another.
7:00 pm: The 17³Ô¹Ï Men’s Hockey Panthers are away to play the University of New Brunswick Reds in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This will be another battle of the two top teams in the AUS, with 17³Ô¹Ï still searching for their first win against UNB.
