17³Ô¹Ï extends condolences on the passing of Robert Doiron

The entire 17³Ô¹Ï campus community was saddened to hear the news that Robert Doiron, retired porter at the Atlantic Veterinary College, passed away at the age of 70 on August, 6, 2021.

In 2016, Robert received a Presidential Recognition Award of Merit for Campus Spirit, which is presented to a 17³Ô¹Ï employee who has fostered a sense of excitement on campus and promoted fellowship, goodwill, and belonging within the University community, by supporting and promoting 17³Ô¹Ï.

Often seen wearing his reflective vest while driving his bicycle to work, Robert retired from 17³Ô¹Ï in December 2017. A retirement celebration was well attended by colleagues from across campus.

17³Ô¹Ï offers its condolences to his family, friends, and former co-workers.
