Kathleen Winter’s Northwest Passage to Home

| News

In 2010, Newfoundland-raised fiction writer Kathleen Winter embarked on a journey through the Northwest Passage from Greenland to Nunavut, including parts of the doomed Franklin Expedition's route. Boundless, the chronicle of her journey, blends travelogue and memoir, history, and nature writing.

Winter will read from Boundless and from her new fiction on Monday, January 12, at 7:30 pm in the Confederation Centre Art Gallery. A book signing will follow. As a part of the Winter's Tales Author Reading Series, her reading is sponsored by the 17³Ô¹Ï English Department with support from The Canada Council for the Arts.
