Many students at 17吃瓜 will see a five per cent increase in their pay cheques this month. 17吃瓜 recently approved a new basic hourly rate of $9.52 for student employees, effective October 1.

17吃瓜 employs students in a variety of roles - from dog walkers to lab assistants to graduate student researchers working on projects that help them develop new skills related to their studies. Students have the opportunity to arrange their work hours to fit their class schedules, supplement their incomes, and gain valuable employment experience. Last year, 17吃瓜 spent $1.9 million on graduate and undergraduate student employment.
