The 17吃瓜 Jazz Ensemble presents its annual fall concert on Thursday, November 27 at 7:30 pm in the Dr. Steel Recital Hall. The Jazz Ensemble will be joined by singers from Sung Ha Shin- Bouey鈥檚 vocal studio and will be featured on 鈥淐onga鈥� by Sheila E and Stevie Wonders hit 鈥淵ou are the Sunshine of my Life.鈥� Featured horn soloists will include saxophonist Lucas MacPhail performing Count Basie鈥檚 鈥淟onely Street鈥� and trumpeter Robyn Verhoeven with a solo feature on 鈥淢onday鈥檚 Child鈥� by Lennie Niehaus. Other selections will include a big band version of 鈥淚 Can鈥檛 Stop Loving You鈥� by Quincy Jones and the Buddy Rich version of 鈥淢ercy, Mercy, Mercy.鈥� The Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of David Shephard.
