Workshop and public reading from writer-in-residence Dominic Langlois
The 17³Ô¹Ï Department of Modern Languages is proud to welcome its first ever French Writer-in-Residence Dominic Langlois, poet and young-adult novelist. He will lead a writing workshop on Saturday, September 22 at 1:00 pm (in 17³Ô¹Ï Dawson Lounge, SDMB 520), and give a public reading on Thursday, September 27 at 7:30 pm (in the 17³Ô¹Ï Faculty Lounge, SDMB 201). He will also meet with Dr. Sanda Badescu’s and Dr. Scott Lee’s students to discuss various topics related to poetry and the use of slang in French.
Dominic Langlois’ visit and the 17³Ô¹Ï French Writer-in-Residency program are sponsored by the 17³Ô¹Ï Department of Modern Languages, the Dean of Arts, the Dean of Education, the Vice-President Academic/Research, with generous support from Arts NB.
