17³Ô¹Ï is pleased to welcome one of this year’s Canada Gairdner International Award laureates, Dr. Lewis Kay, to present his seminal research.
Dr. Kay’s groundbreaking discoveries in molecular biochemistry and medical imaging science have advanced knowledge in protein structure and function, giving a deeper understanding of diseases and potential therapies.
He is recognized for his role in developing modern nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy which is used to study the structure and dynamics of large molecules like proteins.
Dr. Kay will deliver his lecture to the campus community on Monday, March 5 from 10:45 am to 11:30 am in the Faculty Lounge (Rm.201), SDU Main Building.
