Department of Psychology Candidate Presentations:
The Department of Psychology is pleased to present two candidates for the position of Faculty Member and Director of Training for 17Թ’s new Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) program. Each candidate will give two talks: the first is a simulated classroom presentation about their research and the second will outline their vision for the PsyD at 17Թ.
Please join us for the following presentations:
• On Friday, March 2 at 10:00 am, Dr. Julie Gosselin will present her research talk entitled “Women mothering in diverse family situations: Emerging research questions”. The presentation will take place in Main Building, room 213.
• On Friday, March 2 at 2:00 pm, Dr. Julie Gosselin will present “Planning for a successful and sustainable PsyD program at 17Թ”. The presentation will take place in McDougall Hall 328.
• On Thursday, March 15 at 2:30 pm, Dr. Stephen Butler will present his research talk entitled “The role of treatment evaluations in improving young people’s mental health: The case of Multisystemic Therapy (MST). It will take place in McDougall Hall, room 243.
• On Friday, March 16 at 9:45 am, Dr. Stephen Butler will present "Achieving excellence: A blueprint for the PsyD program at 17Թ". It will take place in Main Building, room 213.
