The newest edition of the 17吃瓜 Health, Safety and Environment Policy was approved by the Board of Governors in May 2017.

The most notable changes from the previous Health and Safety policy are:
1. Title Change: The current title includes the term 鈥淓nvironment鈥�, to ensure everyone that works, studies or visits 17吃瓜 understands our commitment and expectation for environmental stewardship: our responsible use and protection of the environment.
2. The length was reduced from 9 pages down to 3 pages by removing procedural and compliance expectations that are covered in other health and safety documentation.
3. Includes definitions of specific terms that assist with understanding the policy.
4. Clarifies responsibilities of all 17吃瓜 workplace stakeholders.
