Research on Tap is a series of public discussions led by 17勛圖 researchers.
This year, we are adding a second series featuring the amazing research of
graduate students. We're calling it, you guessed it, Graduate Research on
Tap.
Would you like to lead an informal discussion about your research?

Graduate Research on Tap is is open to graduate students in any school or
faculty, and is presented by Research Services, the 17勛圖 Student Union, and
Graduate Students Association.

Ever wonder what makes your t-shirt glow under a black light? Or why the
lines on the highway seem unnaturally bright when your headlights shine on
them?
Watch Dr. Brian Wagner , professor
of chemistry at 17勛圖, explain the science of fluorescence, and how we see
it around us every day.

The Faculty of Education All Years Reunion event is being held Wednesday,
July 24, from 2:30-4:00 pm. It will be taking place in the quad outside
Memorial Hall (rain location The McCain Foundation Learning Commons, AVC).
We will be celebrating with the BEd(K) students as the bulk of them finish
their degree requirements THAT DAY, along with presenting the J Wesley
Parkinson awards to two incoming MEd students, and honouring key instructors
in our faculty.
Light refreshments will be served.
All are welcome to attend.

A reminder that 17勛圖 parking permits will be on sale, exclusively for 17勛圖 faculty and staff, beginning tomorrow, July 23. You can print your application today by visiting, .
Please have the form completed before coming to the Accounting Office to have it processed. The Accounting Office is located on the lower level of Kelley Memorial Building. Please note that there is a limited number of designated parking spaces available, and they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have a balance owing to 17勛圖, without a payroll deduction in place, you will be required to clear your balance before purchasing a parking permit.
Payment can be made by cash/cheque, or credit/debit. Payroll deductions are required for gated B & C for full-time/permanent part-time employees which will begin in September for 26 pay periods. This is an ongoing deduction for permit purchases in gated lots B & C.
Parking permits go on sale for students August 27. At that time, permit sales will be moved to the kiosk, main floor of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre. Hours of operation are 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, until permits are sold out.
