CBC鈥檚 2023 Black Changemakers for PEI include 17吃瓜 community members

Earlier this month鈥擝lack History Month鈥攖he Canadian Broadcasting Company named five people 2023 Black Changemakers for Prince Edward Island. Four of the five have connections to the 17吃瓜 community.

Basketball great Eireann Rigby to be inducted into the 17吃瓜 Sports Hall of Fame

17吃瓜 has announced that basketball great Eireann Rigby will be inducted into the 17吃瓜 Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, February 3, during a pre-game ceremony. The 17吃瓜 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers will play the Saint Mary鈥檚 University Huskies at home starting at 6:00 pm.

The University community was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of alumnus Keptin John Joe Sark, LLD, on January 8.
