| Background: | Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the legal, political, economic, health, and professional status of women. The Club has a mission to encourage female students to achieve higher education and pursue leadership positions. As a millennium project, the Zonta Club of Charlottetown published a book, Making History: A Celebration of Prince Edward Island Women of the 20th Century. The Zonta Club of Charlottetown has contributed to a variety of local service initiatives over the years including the establishing of student awards at 17吃瓜.
